Joƫlle was doing some computer housecleaning and came across a couple links that she shared with me. I found one of them to be an interesting history of PaintShop Pro and she told me to feel free to share it here.
Enjoy!!

I am glad to see an online version of this "list of PaintShop Pro releases". There used to be a site with that table, and it went down a few years ago. I had copied that table that I use often as a reference for what feature appeared in what version and such. Now, it is even updated with the newest versions!

Page from Corel or some volunteers? Thanks for that. I was thinking of a nice history of PaintShop Pro with some nice screenshots of a new features mentioned in the wiki page. -- Maybe we can have a nice list of extensions and plugins for latest version 2023. Something like the INDEX page - just a simple managed list, and then each plugin has its own page with comments and experiences... On the old forum it was also more or less random that someone would mention a tool they used.

I'm not a PSP user but I search my files archives and found that I received full PSP 5 bundled on a DVD of the April 2003 PCPlus UK magazin, RIP.

I used to buy PCPlus every month. They had some good stuff on their CD/DVDs. Also got PSP 7 that way. Those were the days.

I remember that magazine! Bought a few when living in the UK. Then moved to The Netherlands and was only able to buy it once.. That was 2009. Next time I wanted to buy the magazine, they didn't have it anymore and haven't seen it since. Just found the post from 2004 about the launch of the magazine from the original publisher. One commenter said they found the tutorials they needed online, so didn't want to pay for the magazine. Problably they weren't the only once, so the magazin was never meant to be for long.

Strangely, they are missing versions 2021 and 2022 in their list. And the version 2023 is listed as released in December 2022, which we know is inaccurate.

Hi cassel , It does indicate that the section needs to be updated. I think anyone can update Wikipedia and probably experienced Paintshop Pro users could correct and add to the article to make it more accurate. Even an update regarding the closure of the official User Forum with a link to this site could be added. Someone actually did that for the Videostudio wikipedia article.
