Still broken, same as when I tried it before: Thought I'd be smart I selected Legal but no change. Then tried Microsoft PDF printer and that didn't work either.

Suggestion: set your printer to landscape and create a new template in landscape mode.

Hoping to avoid creating hundreds of duplicate standard and custom layouts just to select landscape. Tried a bunch of stuff that didn't work like removing printers, changing defaults, having printers set as landscape by default, setting paper size A3, etc. Then I tried to remove 2 of the template's file locations (local domain) but the locations come back after restarting PSP. Tried to disable all 3 default locations and after restarting PSP they are all enabled again. That stumped me on how to change/remove in PSP from local domain to local drive. Also noticed that hovering the mouse over the "ADD" and "REMOVE" buttons I get some odd popup-tips that I found amusing.

The aim of my suggestion was to test if a template created in landscape mode works as expected and could be used in portrait mode. Sorry doesn't work. Tried that earlier before reinstall and just double-checked now, but layout still removes the bottom 2 cells after changing it to portrait mode. Thank you for helping out.

Just curious: when using the template on a greater paper size, does it remove the bottom 2 cells?

removing printers, changing defaults, having printers set as landscape by default, setting paper size A3, etc. Just curious: when using the template on a greater paper size, does it remove the bottom 2 cells? Gets removed. Yesterday tried A3 because its the bigger in both directions, previously tried legal last week. Those missing cells do Not return when I re-select Portrait again. It's like that for all templates regardless if stock or custom. (ie. Standard Sizes - Mini Wallets) No custom templates after I wiped out and reinstalled, at least for a couple days before I ruled that out too.

Also double-checked all settings for printer's preferences in Windows Settings * Scaling = off * Paper Size = letter * Multiple Page = normal/off * 2 sided = none/off Changed PSP's Preferences > General Preferences > View > Options and [ ] unchecked everything, restarted PSP Still broken. I've tried adding images to missing cells after rotating template. But what happens if I filled a template then rotate it... Well the pictures are showing and print so its 50% more usable Those missing cells are completely un-editable even with images showing in them.

Another user with the same version as yours (23.1.0.73) should do the test to see if he/she notices it too.

My version is 23.1.0.27 x64 and I don't see that issue. When I switch between landscape and portrait the template resizes to fit the orientation selected.

Do you recall if that's the retail CD version? I uninstalled and used CD to install and it shows version 23.1.0.73 so that's got to be CD version. Print Layout bug is still there. But oddly it has many preferences still saved from before like message preferences. Now I'm wondering if corel's cleanup tool was not uninstalling everything fully and something was left in Windows registry???

I downloaded PSP2021, so not a CD version. It's been so long it's hard to remember but I am thinking a hot-fix was applied; not sure about an update.

I've since found the PSP installation logs, in windows temp folder. Installer found the previously used temp files and registry keys, has those marked them as "Existing" (so no doubt installer used existing instead of redoing). Planning to uninstall and use cleanup tool again. Then manually find and delete all these temp files and registry keys. I'll document what I manually removed. Then I'll install trial version I got last Sept thats still in my downloads folder. That trial installer file shows version 23.0.0.1 and I already downloaded the patch from corel website. Thanks!

Here's steps I know of to remove any leftover stuff from paintshop pro. Putting it here for that one person in the future who will need to know how to do this. This assumes they'll have knowledge to use File Explorer to navigate PC filesystem.
Also assumes knowledge to save any customization files somewhere else on PC, ie: \Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2021\Workspaces \Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2021\Presets
Uninstall PSP normally through Windows10 Settings > Apps Run the PSP Cleaner (find it in this forums Resources)
Doublecheck the installation folders got deleted: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Corel C:\Users\ <accountname> \Documents\Corel C:\Program Files\Corel\ C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\
Windows temp folder (this was highly interpretive) basically I deleted any files that might've been corel or PSP installation. That included 2 folders, the names will likely change between computers/installations: C:\TEMP\59e2807\ C:\TEMP\9A90408D-C174-4EFD-AE5A-8589A168C353
Deleted these folders: C:\Users\ <accountname> \Pictures\Corel PaintShop Pro 2021 Cache C:\Users\ <accountname> \AppData\Local\Corel PaintShop Pro
Went into folder and deleted any files starting with PSP: C:\Users\ <accountname> \AppData\Local\CrashDumps\
Went to folder then Searched "corel" to find entry "mc.corel(mc.corel.com)" Must delete the entry at right-side, then its folder left-side C:\Users\ <accountname> \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\History\
Delete folder "Ulead Systems" C:\Users\ <accountname> \AppData\Roaming\
Search "corel" to find entries & select all, right-click to delete Then search "paintshop" - I had only 1 entry to delete C:\Users\jhewitt\AppData\
Run Regeditor, exported the keys below, and then deleted them: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Corel\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Corel\
After that, I ran 2021 trial installer and I am running version 23.1.0.27 x64 First thing I tested the layout before any customization or updates. But the broken layout issue persists, so this is specific to my PC so I'm done with it for awhile.
Many thanks to all who helped out with suggestions and testing.

I missed some file or registry entry because some settings I changed were retained. For example: File > Preferences > General Program Preferences: UNDO: Limit undo/redo to 250 Display+Caching: [X] Enable scratch disk, location D:\ (both retained) Display+Caching: Effect browser thumbnails (not retained it was reset back to 80 from 120) Palettes: [X] Classic Material (not retained) Palettes: Tooltip thumbnails (not retained it was reset back to 80 from 120) Misc.: [ ] Disable - Show Splash Screen (not retained it was reset back to enabled)
Also after closing Print Layout I very-very briefly see a white screen that says: URL: empty://corel.com/?sku=ult&mode=welcome&tbyb=0 ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
