So I had a some custom templates in JASC PSP 9 and some of them I used for decades. One print layout I used to quickly add 6 photos into a quick 8x10 collage It worked portrait or landscape. I manually editing it to work in PSP2021. Thanks to the old forums I did this with other templates. But if I change printer to landscape it seems to break this template in PSP2021. So I tried remaking template from scratch and got the same results. (attached) Am I missing something or did I break PSP2021 somehow? MIPTemplate_Print_2000 cust 8x10 coll....PspScript (3.05 KB) PS. I doublechecked my JASC PSP9 backups and no duplicate files for a Portrait vs Landscape. So it's not just my memory acting up, I know that ancient program let me rotate templates without this issue.

Using your template with PSP 2021 on my printer works on portrait and landscape (rotates automatically without loss). Try a reset. Attachments:

So on Monday I followed the stickied guide to reset psp-vs-forums.freeforums.net/thread/8/reset-psp-defaultWent to File > Preferences > Reset Preferences and Unable to select check-mark "Reset Workspace to Default Configuration" Thought that was odd so I took a screenshot. Then tried the other methods but no luck and page layout issue persists. Anyone else come across this before or any suggestions???

You could use the method of holding down the shift key while double clicking the PSP desktop icon to do the reset.
Regarding the Reset being grayed out - I've experienced that as well. It was reported to the developers several months ago. It seems that if you save your workspace that option is grayed out. It makes no sense to me. The last version that worked properly was X9.

So that reset everything to default and removed everything, including saved workspaces. But print layout issue is still affects all templates. ie) Just tried adding 5th image to template (Avery 8254) to see if appear to the side (or below off screen) where the missing 2 spots are, but no luck. Tried changing printers - HP colour inkjet to Brother laser printer Yesterday I checked windows system files "SFC /scannow" Also yesterday I deleted everything in windows Temp folder Then checked HDD (my 2nd drive) where temp files are kept ran "chkdsk /F /R" All results from yesterday was no issues found and so it's really stumped me.

Just a longshot but is your settings for A4 or Letter? A4 would totally make sense. I checked but its set to letter, even after I clicked landscape it still letter size. Just noticed when I select portrait again it stays messed up. Thought I'd be smart I selected Legal but no change. Then tried Microsoft PDF printer and that didn't work either.

What is your PSP version? I think you nailed it! Everything says its PSP2021, BUT when I checked the exact version in About..................... PaintShop Pro 23.1.0.73 x64 So yeah that reminds me I did have PSP2023-Trial installed late last year. But I know I uninstalled it before installing 2021 retail. Now I'll try a full uninstall and after that I'll run both 2021 and then the 2023 clean up tools.

PSP 2021 was the 23rd version of Paint Shop Pro so that information about version is correct. The version for Paint Shop Pro 2023 (at least on my system) is 25.2.0.58 x64 which makes 2023 the 25th version of PSP.

I have an older version (23.1.0.27) of the program than yours. It's possible that the bug only exists in your version. Another user with the same version as yours (23.1.0.73) should do the test to see if he/she notices it too.

Thank you everyone for checking the other versions. It's occurred to me this might also be caused by Windows 10 Professional? The issue still exists even after a complete wipe out and reinstall. Even downloaded the PSP2021 trial installer off corel's website and same version# is installed The old patch release notes don't mention there's any ongoing issues, like this with the templates. But it doesn't show a what the patched version number would be either. www.paintshoppro.com/en/support/updates/#psp-2021

Have you tested the behavior with another printer? You could try the Windows virtual printer: Microsoft Print To Pdf in the printer list.
