Firstly many thanks to those that set up the new website.
I haven't used VS22 before although I downloaded it sometime ago.
It may be my ageing eyesight but, compared to earlier versions it appears to me that in VS22 the opening screen lettering has shrunk. I refer to the headings and drop downs for File, Edit, Preferences etc, etc.
Is there a way to make these larger?
Also is it possible to swap the positioning of the player with that of the library? I have tried but with no success so far.
Regards Paul

Hi Paul The easy one first, reposition the UI From the top of the library click and drag the thin bar the one containing the 8 small white dots. The panel will detach, drag left to locate the blue arrow anchor points, drop your mouse over the far left arrow. If things go wrong hit your F7 key will revert the UI to its default view. Drag the panel again. You can resize the panels by dragging their edges. Once satisfied with the layout go to Settings – Layout Settings – select Save to - Custom 1,2 or 3. ( Alt+ 1) to save (Ctrl+1) to select the saved layout Remember F7 to revert to default Resizing fonts, have you upgraded your monitor to a higher resolution maybe to 4K, that has the effect of reducing the fonts. There is an option to customise the DPI settings for the program, Ken may be the best to explain this as I do not have a 4K monitor Right click the VS 22 desktop icon for Preferences – choose Preferences then Compatibility tab. To the bottom is an option to Change high DPI settings From here I am unsure which boxes should be ticked, trial and error or wait for Ken to reply. ![](//storage.proboards.com/7370495/thumbnailer/rwIKwVLycubMDiTWjXuf.png)

As Trevor has said, you keep VS closed. Then right click the VS desktop icon and on the dropdown menu which appears, choose Properties. (Trevor said 'Preferences' but I am sure he meant Properties.) A dialogue box will appear.
Click on "Change high DPI settings" down towards the bottom. A new box will appear. I make sure the top box ("Use this setting...") is ticked and then in the middle of that box, the display box shows "I signed in to Windows" after "Use the DPI that's set for my display when..."
And further down, you will see "High DPI scaling override". Make sure the little box beside "Override high DPI scaling behavior." is ticked. And under that choose "System" in the window. Hit OK to close that box and OK to close the first box. Then open VS.
This also assumes that you have gone into Windows Settings > System > Display and increased the scale there to something a good deal higher than the default 100%. FWIW I set mine to 150% for my 32" 4K monitor.
