I've recently found a good use for Corel Video Studio, and in its "Capture" tab the "MultiCam Capture" facility. Dunno if it's of any interest to others, but I thought worth a mention. Having a mild heart problem, I use a Pulse Oximeter to keep an eye on both pulse rate and the wave form of the pulse. The computer Oxi app used to display the data is adequate enough, but it's storage and later replay is really awful.
So I got to thinking, what's a good way to capture the Oxi screen display so I can view it again, and of course keep it as a record. A day or so before, I'd use the CVS MultiCam capture to pick up a bit of online video I couldn't download... and that set me thinking about the awful Oxi replay problem.
When the Oxi live display is running, I have the "MultiCam Capture" facility set up to capture the on screen running Oxi display. Thereafter, I have a good quality video I can keep as a record.

arturox, Great idea! How long do you usually run the capture for? Overnight while you sleep?

arturox , Great idea! How long do you usually run the capture for? Overnight while you sleep? No, I only do it when I'm feeling off, then do it, usually for around 3 minutes at a time, unless I'm having an extra wobbly time, when I do it longer to see what's going on...
The Mb size of the video files is 20Mb per minute (60Mb for a 3 minute file), so it doesn't take long to use a large amount of Mbytes.
