Yeah I saw that. PS25 was problematic for myself and others. It was better than PS24, but not by much. I have this "hate" thing for Alludo and have decided to give the least amount of money to them if they offer a Humble Bundle that I like. Everyone, you can adjust the percentages on who gets what, so doing leave it at default.

I bought the bundle that you mention, just last night.
My thoughts:
Corel WordPerfect Office, on it's own, is worth the price of the bundle. I use Libre Office, Ashampoo Office 9 and now I have Word Perfect Office as of last night. I am a heavy user of office software (not good at using it, but I do use it alot), and I really don't like Microsoft Office, so I am very happy to get WordPerfect Office for such a small price. Everytime I tried to use Microsoft Word, there were automatic pop-ups and pre-set features that were initiated within the program without me wanting such things to be initiated. I was spending about 30 seconds each time I opened the programs just to put everything back to a neutral beginning. So, I gave up on Microsoft and won't ever use their programs again. Pinnacle 25 is a good editor and since it's part of the bundle, it is a tremendously good value. Only thing I don't like about Pinnacle is the import feature when you are trying to get a video file into the program to start things off. And the audio adjustments are just OK. But other than those 2 things, it is very good.
After Shot 3 is worthless. I have no idea why Corel doesn't just include After Shot capabilities as standard in PSP. I love PSP, but one thing I don't like is the results I get from the Adjustment sliders - they don't make my images Pop and stand-out on the page. This is why I am always searching for another editor. I have ACDSEE Photo, which is a great editor for adjustment slider results, but is inferior to PSP for selecting objects.
PSP is the best program I have used for object selection. It is one of the only photo editors on the market that has a SMOOTH option, so selections aren't jagged and unpleasent looking. The program can actually select hard, clean lines, which many programs can't do. I tried Affinity, but all the selections look terrible when you magnify them close up because there is no SMOOTH option within Affinity. Anyways, I have tried to work with After Shot many times because it is part of the Corel family, but the program lags and pixelates my results until I save it and repopen it in PSP. And After Shot hasn't been updated or supported since a long time ago, so Corel should either retire it or put the full software into PSP as standard.
Corel Draw Essentials, which includes Photo Paint is a nice bonus, but never going to replace PSP.
Painter Essentials is a nice bonus as well.
For the money, the bundle is amazing.
I would have bought Word Perfect Office, on it's own, for the Humble deal price. To get the others as freebies, essentially, is wonderful. And don't forget, Corel will usually offer $20 or more worth of discounts on all upgrades when you already own one of their programs. So, in the future, I will probably re-cuperate my Bundle purchase by saving on Corel software upgrade deals, going forward. This makes the bundle almost free in the end.

Hmmm... I posted the same thing on 2 June (see psp-vs-forums.freeforums.net/thread/166/humble-bundle-offer) but only Tony seems to have seen it, or at least commented on it. I posted it in the General Discussion section since none of the offers related specifically to either VS or PSP. I might also note that -- as picked up by producteditingguy above -- the CorelDRAW on offer is not the full but the Essentials version. Still an excellent offer, though...

I was using Pinnacle 25 today and the export rendering is SO SLOW. I unchecked hardware acceleration in the program's export settings, but it doesn't help much. I intend to contact Corel and ask them to help me solve this issue. I know others have had issues with it.
On another note, I upgraded to After Shot Pro 3 for $20 Canadian, as I received the upgrade offer once I installed the regular After Shot 3 download. The Pro version is better and the results are good, overall. Better adjustment slider results can be achieved in After Shot Pro 3 as compared to PSP 2023.
Corel/Alludo, if you read this comment, PLEASE incorporate After Shot Pro 3 adjustment sliders into PSP software, going forward. They give excellent results and you aren't even developing After Shot anymore, so it's not a loss from your end.

producteditingguy so slow compared to what? Unchecking hardware acceleration would certainly make things even slower. It's in the wording of "hardware acceleration". Is it as fast as Videostudio Pro? No. about 1/3rd slower. In PSP is basically Aftershot without all the features. What are your specific computer specs? In your editing, are you using any effects/corrections? Corel/Alludio will not be reading any of this. Remember they closed their official forums? They didn't read anything there, so do not expect them here? PSP, PS, VS, ASP, WP, etc., are all dead in the water. They have been for a couple of years now. ASP has seen no improvements far longer. What they are doing is recycling their products to get whatever money they can. And since PS25 is close to 3 years old (the last version of put out in 2022 and it was PS26), I would be interested if they offered any solution to you that didn't involve spending money.
