I have 3 copies of PSP and mostly use 2: PSPX6 and PSPX7. Lately they have both been slowing down and I'm having to wait too long for the tools to open. My question is: Is there anything I can do to speed things up? Are there any files that I can delete? My computer is generally pretty fast but it's just the programs.

Perhaps exclude PSP folder path from Defender to scan every time if this slows down...

Can you explain that in more detail? I was thinking maybe there was a cache somewhere.

Can you explain that in more detail? I was thinking maybe there was a cache somewhere. You can delete PSP's cache files, which will be rebuilt when restarted: File/Preferences/Reset preferences... > Delete all cache files. (Active cache files rebuilt on start.)
