Am I missing something, is old age catching up? I've been trying to reproduce the effect of luts using PSP, in particular Teal and orange. I've tried film effects, and gradients, looked in the shop section and even my many scripts but nothing found. I have luts that I used with the now lost Photoshop CS6, my old CS5 does not support it. Photopea has the lut option but can be hit and miss as not recognising some of the cube files, Affinity also supports Luts but I'd rather stay with PSP. Has anybody an answer to my dilemma?

Could you post some before/after images?

There is an Orange _ Teal.CUBE provided with Video Studio2021, 22, and 23. I do not know how to import the Cube file to PSP?

I don't use video studio, look up teal and orange luts on google images to see the effect.

Yes there are samples on the Internet, some free to download. They do seem to add a warming type filter to the image. As i said I don’t know how to use the lut in PSP, do you know how to do that?

I had some On1 luts on my system so I tried dragging one into PSP but PSP was unable to read/open the lut. Apparently it can't read cube files.
When you tried working with gradients did you try them with different blend modes and opacity?

Ok, I loaded some lut samples from the internet. The result obtained is a matter of settings in PSP and could be recorded in a script. I tested the feature on the before/after image ("Titanium-teal-n-orange...webp"). And the result ("Lut 1 after" but with 'before' text) is obtained with the attached script (Lut 1.pspscript in the zip file). titanium-teal-n-orange-lut-pack-10-luts-1.webp (266.87 KB) Lut 1.zip (943 B)

Thank you jeanluc, although that method certainly works, it is not really the best method for me as I'd need to understand how to convert .cube files to the script step by step. In Lightroom 5 I have discovered a basic method for a Teal/Orange effect. Open the image and using the camera calibration sliders, set the red primary hue slider to +100 and the blue primary hue to -100. (Corel Aftershot Pro3 does not have those sliders by default). However, by enabling the Colour Equalizer plugin using the values as seen in the screenshot obtains a very similar result.

In the Gmic plugin, I see CLUT. I don't know if it is the same as LUT.

clut are luts, however looking at Gmic, I think I'll just continue to use www.photopea.com. Using ' add layer.....colour lookup' I can import most of my current saved luts

I will also add that both RawTherapee (free) and Affinity Photo (not free but affordable) can natively use LUTs. And RawTherapee provides a huge number of them as a separate download to simulate various camera film types. Which you can use outside of RawTherapee of course.
Nice to know G'Mic includes this, means I don't have to waste time on a script.

Hi I also had a few issues in selecting the correct download I then realised I had to place both the “Gmic folder” and the file “GmicPlugin.8bf” in the Corel – Plugin folder here. C:\Program Files\Corel\Plugins
I was then able to apply the orange_teal.cube I may need a degree to understand it all.
I also tried using the programs folder which did not work C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2023 (64-bit)\PlugIns

Try as I might I just cannot get G'Mic to run as a plugin on my win 11 PSP2023. Just double check that you are downloading the 64-bit version of the plug-in and not the x86 version.

Definitely 64 bit version downloaded Both Gmic folder and GmicPlugin.8bf” in the Corel – Plugin folder C:\Program Files\Corel. Using Preferences...File Locations... Plugins...Add... I just get Nik Collection and Painter. (I did try without the last entry but no go)
